KNEE PAIN
There are many causes of knee pain. Some of the most common reasons people have knee pain are listed below.
Knee Arthritis: Knee Arthitis is a chronic problem that commonly occurs as people age. It can be treated with anti-inflammtory medicines, injections, exercises, weight loss, use of a cane, and partial or total knee replacement surgery as the last option when conservative measures have failed.

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Tears: The ACL is commonly injured in younger patients participating in sports. A MRI may be required to make a full diagnosis of the injury. Depending on the patient ACL tears can be treated either with physical therapy or surgical reconstruction to put in a new ACL.

Meniscus Tears: A meniscus tear can happen to any patient and may occur after an injury or just a minor twisting to the knee. They do not heal on their own but the symptoms can improve so that surgery isn't required. In many cases, however, patients benefit from arthroscopic surgery to repair or remove the damaged piece of meniscus.
